Congratulations on the new book, Andrew!! I look forward to getting ahold of it soon. I would have for sure been game for Radnor Lake as I’ve fallen in love with that place. Came to my first Hutchmoot in 2016 and stumbled upon Radnor, and every year since (except HM Homebound) have walked the lake after Hutchmoot ended as a way to digest and process and pray. This year my daughter gets married on Sunday, so won’t make my way to Nashville, but hope to catch what I can via HM Homebound. Blessings upon this book release, the Radnor walk and the HM weekend!!

Perhaps a follow up post on Petty’s greatness!?

The story about how “standing at the edge of the world” became “ain’t no easy way out” needs to be canonized for artists, business people and marriages.

OK. I don’t know that story and I need to hear it!

The original lyrics were, “Hey baby / standing at the edge of the world.” George Harrison heard it and said, “Tom. That line is stupid.”

So Petty went back, and came up with, “Hey baby / there ain’t no easy way out.”

It’s in the 4 hour Petty documentary that came out a few years ago. I remember watching that and going, “Woah. All of us need George Harrisons…and we need to listen to them.”
